Got some great footage from the make-up test tonight with Ian Stinson. I can’t wait until the official Wireboy shoot in June for my stars to truly shine :)
Enjoy these promotional stills and photos from the most recent Wireboy shoots; more to come after this weekend! <3
I am ecstatic to say that the Wireboy “Model” shoot went so incredibly well! I couldn’t be happier :) Enjoy these photographs of my actress, Jill Darnell, in make-up for her scene.
Saturday marked the first day of filming for Wireboy. We shot the “Children” scene and we definitely got some great footage. It was a long but very enjoyable day thanks to our friends and everyone who helped. Next, we shoot the “Model” scene!

Cassandra Sechler, director of Wireboy is getting pumped for the upcoming Wireboy shoot in June. More photographs from this series can be seen here.
Photograph taken by Craig Jacobson.

Recently Cassandra and I have been working on the facial applications for The Model. We made the original mold out of pottery clay and then proceeded to paint on thin layers of liquid latex. This is a very effective method in terms of time and cost. It’ll be neat to see the cheeks once they’re finished, trimmed and all made up. The shoot will be in April, so keep a look out for a sneak peek!

Last night was the opening reception for a show that I curated called SMARTSPACE II— an exhibition of work from Graduate and undergraduate artists from San Francisco State University’s Conceptual Information Arts (CIA) department. The show was organized to honor the legacy of Stephen Wilson’s teaching and reflect his outstanding influence on his students through art, science, technology, and his wisdom.
The show featured works by Crystal Allen, Robert Stone, Sarah Band, Nova Barton, Sean Bennett, Alexander Hinds, Jestin Korsgaard, Carlos Castellanos, Sarah Castle, Aaron Grobler, Martin Juarez, Colton Long, Michael Mosher, Patrick Boehner, Torrey Nommesen, Natasha Price, Jeff Ray, Charlemagne Charmaine, and Cassandra Sechler .
This piece that I screened was called Technophobia. It was specifically made as a video loop—an abstract assemblage of video footage taken from video tests from my current film Wireboy: a nightmarish look into technology, the future, and ourselves.
The event was definitely a success, and I can’t wait to continue curating various events for conceptual artists to gain exposure (as well as give Wireboy more and more exposure).

I cannot wait to begin shooting Wireboy at the Kink Armory in June. We will be using their Shooting Range set!
The San Francisco edition of the Mindscapes show on Saturday was a success! Some people in the audience even left during the second half because they were so offended by some of the films—that’s amazing! More photos and videos from the night can be caught on my flickr page.
